Juneteenth Ribbon-Cutting of Anza Trail Signage

This year's Juneteenth at Peralta Creek celebration kicks off with a (2PM) ribbon-cutting for a 'healing garden', creekside amphitheater, and Oakland's newest recreation trail at Peralta Hacienda Historical Park, the birthplace of Oakland. Oakland City Council Member Noel Gallo will lead the ceremonies that will also include Friends of Negro Spirituals, master storyteller Malcolm Westbrooks, and the related art installation inside the Peralta House, Walter Hood's StoryHorse.
