Visitors will have the opportunity to learn how to use stargazing tools and to view the night sky on Saturday, November 23 at Oasis Visitor Center in Twentynine Palms.

From 10 am to 3 pm, participants will learn about the night sky from local experts and use telescopes from the most basic to high-powered computerized models. Celestron pros will be on hand to explain the technology behind the telescopes. Beginning at 6:30 pm and continuing until 10 pm, stargazers will be able to view the night sky through the telescopes from the parking lot of the visitor center.

This event is hosted by Joshua Tree National Park in partnership with Celestron Telescopes, NASA, American Park Network, and the Joshua Tree National Park Association.
