John Muir National Historic Site

Here at John Muir NHS we do accept donations for the park. We use the money to help support our children's educational programs, like the day long Environmental Living Program, or our Jr. Ranger program.

If there is a specific park project that you would like to support, please feel free to contact us here at the site Wednesday through Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM (PT).

Muir Heritage Land Trust

One of our park partners dedicated to preserving land here in Contra Costa County. At 20 years old this year (2009), they have preserved over 1,800 acres of green space! They truly follow the preservation spirit of John Muir.
