	John Muir National Historic Site Indoor Activities

Our Visitor Center has a bookstore, and our 20 min. film about John Muir's life called, "A Glorious Adventure" is shown there as well.

Muir's 14 room Victorian mansion and the Martinez adobe are also open for the public Wed. - Sun., from 10am till 5 pm.


			Did You Know? John Muir not only has a National Historic Site and Muir Woods National Monument named for him, but schools, hospitals, plants, a rock type, a mammal, a bird, a butterfly, trails, a pass, a glacier, a wilderness area, a beach, an inlet, a mountain, and he's even on the 2005 California state quarter!
