Change In Park Schedule
Starting on Monday, April 22nd, 2013, the John Muir National Historic Site will be operating under new days and hours. We will be open Wednesday through Sunday from 10am-5pm. The press release regarding change in operating hours can be downloaded at link. More »
Directions
Directions-John Muir National Historic Site From San Jose: Take I-680 northbound or (From Sacramento) southbound I-680 to Highway 4 westbound. Exit at Alhambra Ave. Turn right at bottom of ramp. The park is located immediately on your left. The closest BART stop is the North Concord/Martinez station. Transfer to The County Connection #16 bus, which stops at the park. There is also an AMTRAK station in downtown Martinez (2 miles from here). Transfer to The County Connection #16 bus which stops at the park.
