John Muir National Historic Site
While At The park

Use our self guided tour book to identify what you're looking at throughout the house and grounds. You may purchase one in the Visitor Center for $1.00, or you may use a loan copy.

Jr. Ranger books are free in the Visitor Center and are recommended for 8-12 year olds, but hey, don't let that stop you!

There are many places to picnic on site. No fires or grills are allowed in the park.

In summertime, look for boxes of fresh picked fruit throughout the site!
