Visitor Center:
The park Visitor Center is open 7 days a week 9 am to 5 pm all year-round. We are closed on Federal winter holidays: Thanksgiving Day, December 25, January 1, Martin Luther King Jr. Day (3rd Monday in January), Presidents Day (3rd Monday in February).
South Fork Fishing & Hunting Clubhouse: VERY IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ IF PLANNING TO VISIT THE CLUBHOUSE!
Due to stabilization work scheduled for the late spring and summer of 2013, access to the Clubhouse will be limited during the 2013 season. The building will be open for the 2013 Open House and May 31 anniversary activities, but after these dates, access will only be granted while participating in a ranger guided "Journey Around Lake Conemaugh" van tour. This summer, the Clubhouse will not be opened daily as it has been in the past. The work planned is in anticipation of the 125th Anniversary on May 31, 2014. We do apologize for any inconvenience, but please keep in mind that work done now will help preserve this building for many years to come.
Park Grounds:
The grounds of the park are open from sunrise to sunset. Pets must be on a 6 foot leash at all times and owners need to clean up after their pet. There are no fees for walking the park grounds.
