Join us as we commemorate the 124th Anniversary of the Great Johnstown Flood of Friday, May 31, 1889.  Park fees will be waived this day and the Visitor Center will be open from 9:00 am-10:00 pm and,in addition to our normal film schedule, special showings of the park film, "Black Friday" will be shown at 5:15; 6:15; 7:15; 8:15, & 9:15.  

In addition, the Clubhouse will be open and staffed by members of the Friends of the Johnstown Flood National Memorial, who will provide guided tours of the first level of the building. 

Once again, as night begins to fall in and around the park, 2,209 luminaries, one for each of the flood dead, will be lit. The luminaries, placed along the remains of the South Fork dam, the Clubhouse, and Visitor Center sidewalk will be lit by 7:30 and remain lit until 10:00 pm.
