Johnstown Flood National Memorial
Wetlands, Marshes and Swamps

About seven acres of the historic, former lakebed at Johnstown Flood National Memorial are wetlands, dominated by wetland plants such as cattails and black willows. These wetlands support a diverse array of aquatic insects and other wildlife.

Two people head down sandy trail past bulletin boards and information signs, lighthouse in distance.
