TRAVELING THROUGH TIME: FROM PLAINS TO THE WHITE HOUSE
The Jimmy Carter National Historic Site (NHS) hosted the premiere of Traveling Through Time: From Plains to the White House on Friday, August 21, 2009 at the Plains High School auditorium. The movie was produced and directed by Annette Wise, Instructional Specialist, and was the culmination of over two years of filming, research, takes and re-takes at the Jimmy Carter Boyhood Farm. The movie was made possible through the hard work and dedication of many volunteers. The Jimmy Carter National Historic Site is proud to have one of the few partnerships that combine the resources of the National Park Service, the Georgia State Department of Education and the local school system.
