Explore the rich cultural heritage and natural history of Bayou Vermilion in Lafayette with a National Park Service ranger on the good ship Cocodrie, a traditional Louisiana boat. Cast off every Tuesday through Saturday March 5 through May 31 from Vermilionville Heritage & Folklife Park of the Bayou Vermilion District, 300 Fisher Road in Lafayette (right next to the Acadian Cultural Center at 501 Fisher Road).

Reservations are encouraged as the boat seats 16 and a minimum of four passengers is required. Special arrangements are available for groups larger than 16; prices will vary for shorter tour times.
