Monumental Dreams

Throughout history, places and events memorialized by National Park sites have inspired people to create iconic works of sculpture, painting, architecture, literature, photography and other works of art.

Visitors to the "Monumental Dreams" area will be able to work side-by-side with sculptors and painters in the creation of artwork inspired by the Archgrounds and the St. Louis riverfront.

Historic Americans like Thomas Jefferson and Theodore Roosevelt will also recount how they were moved to create and undertake iconic works that remain their legacy to millions of Americans today.
