  • Pedestrian Access to the Gateway Arch From Downtown

    Pedestrian traffic on the Chestnut, Market St. and Pine St. bridges are closed. This leaves Walnut St. as the only point of entry to the Arch grounds from the city. If you park in the Arch garage there is access from the north end of the park. See maps. More »

7:30 pm: Mr. Bill Iseminger will sign copies of his book "Cahokia Mounds: America's First City" in the Arch Visitor Center.

8:00 pm: Mr. Iseminger will give a talk of the same name about the astronomy of a civilization that once existed close to
where the Gateway Arch is today. the talk will take place in the Odyssey Theater, regardless of weather.

8:30 pm: Weather permitting free telescope viewing will take place on the grounds or at the top of the Arch Parking Garage.
