  • Pedestrian Access to the Gateway Arch From Downtown

    Pedestrian traffic on the Chestnut, Market St. and Pine St. bridges are closed. This leaves Walnut St. as the only point of entry to the Arch grounds from the city. If you park in the Arch garage there is access from the north end of the park. See maps. More »

The Old Courthouse Players present radio style play about the romance of Ulysses S.Grant  and his "dear Julia" Dent Grant". The play is based on his momoirs.

"My Dear Julia" is written by local historian NiNi Harris and local artist Shelia M. Harris.  The play is approximately 30 minutes in length. This will be the first public reading of "My Dear Julia".

The Old Courthouse Players are a group of friends interested in local history and preservation of local historic sites. They have presented plays on the history of the St. Louis Riverfront, the Civil War in St. Louis, and St. Louis as the Gateway to the West.
