The Gateway Arch will extend hours over Thanksgiving weekend and be open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 23rd and from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, November 24th.  The Arch will be closed on Thursday, November 22nd  for Thanksgiving Day.  The expanded hours are intended to give St. Louisans who are entertaining holiday guests a greater opportunity to see the city's premiere tourist attraction.  Regular winter hours for the Arch are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Since many St. Louis families entertain guests over the Thanksgiving Holidays, the Gateway Arch will have extended holiday hours. Because of the demand for seats on tram cars to the top of the Arch, and to avoid long lines and the possibility of tickets selling out completely on a given day, visitors should consider ordering tickets on line at: www.gatewayarch.com

The Gateway Arch is closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and
New Year's Day.  For a free calendar of holiday activities  call (314) 655-1600.

Did You Know?
The Lewis and Clark expedition sent back animals to President Jefferson from Ft. Mandan. Four magpies, a prairie dog, and a sharptailed grouse were sent back with Corporal Warfington. Unfortunately, only the prairie dog and one magpie survived the arduous journey. Learn more about the journey here.
