Pedestrian Access to the Gateway Arch From Downtown
Pedestrian traffic on the Chestnut, Market St. and Pine St. bridges are closed. This leaves Walnut St. as the only point of entry to the Arch grounds from the city. If you park in the Arch garage there is access from the north end of the park. See maps. More »
Gateway Arch Walking Tours
Free walking tours daily through Labor Day at 10:00 a.m.
Join a National Park Service Ranger for a free walking tour of the Gateway Arch grounds. The tours will vary each day and include topics such as the history of the park grounds, the building of the Arch, Colonial St. Louis and the Mississippi River.
Meet the National Park Ranger underneath the Gateway Arch at the north leg, no reservations necessary.
