St. Louis' iconic attractions the Gateway Arch, Old Courthouse and the Gateway Arch Riverboats will remain open and accessible during CityArchRiver 2015 construction and renovations. Construction work, which includes bringing an entirely new visitor experience to the Arch's Museum of Westward Expansion and park grounds, along with an improved St. Louis riverfront, is well underway; however, as the construction calendar unfolds, aspects of the Gateway Arch experience will change and possibly be unavailable for short durations.

"The Gateway Arch is a vital symbol of the westward expansion of America, and we are committed to keeping the Arch open and accessible to the public we serve during this historic transformation," said Karen Bollinger sales and marketing director for Bi-State Development Agency. "In particular, tram rides to the top of the Arch and the riverboat cruises will continue, as we welcome and encourage guests to visit the Arch."

The CityArchRiver 2015 Foundation is working in partnership with the National Park Service to lead the renovation and construction projects on the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial grounds, which will culminate in a brand-new, state-of-the-art visitor experience in late 2015 and 2016, in conjunction with the Arch's 50th anniversary.

Throughout construction, National Park Service programming and museum experiences may be hosted at alternate locations as needed. The Gateway Arch Riverboats, which are celebrating their 50th anniversary season in 2014, will continue to offer evening dinner cruises, daily sightseeing cruises, Sunday brunch cruises, Blues cruises and more.

The most current visitor information is available at www.gatewayarch.com and 877-982-1410. Follow the Arch Facebook page at www.facebook.com/gatewayarchexperience and on Twitter @GatewayArchSTL.
