Scout Programs

Scout Programs for Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Cadettes are offered year-round at the Museum of Westward Expansion and Old Courthouse. The programs present the history of St. Louis and the American West in the nineteenth century and are classified according to scout level. Programs fulfill the requirements for Scout badges through a Leader Activity Guide, which contains activities to be completed before and after the program.

FAMILY SCOUT WORKSHOPS
Join us for a new line of programming designed Daisy Scouts, Tiger Cubs and their families. Each program highlights a different, age-appropriate theme. Scouts and their families will enjoy a ranger-led program followed by a hands-on craft activity. All programs are from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Workshop dates are listed below each program description. Reservations can be made by calling (314) 655-1700, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Celebrate!
The park ranger will use the Old Courthouse history galleries to share with scouts the stories behind our holiday celebrations, past and present. Scouts will make and take home a holiday decoration. This is a free workshop.
