Location: Visitor Center Time: 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Fee Information: Free

The Black Hills Raptor Center in nearby Rapid City shares their live birds of prey on the front patio of the visitor center.  Wildlife rehabilitators share the natural history of each species.  Each species is commonly found at Jewel Cave National Monument, whether living in the ponderosa pine forest or surrounding fire scarred landscape.

This is an excellent program for Junior Rangers and Pee Wee Rangers.  Interested visitors are encouraged to take part in a morning cave tour, have lunch, then take part in this program in the early afternoon ... spend the day at the Monument.
