Agency Connections The National Park Service and the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center have been working together through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and a Liaison position. Many NPS sites and NASA centers have already been working together for many years with little or no recognition outside of the specific project. The primary purpose of the MOU and the Liaison was to create awareness between the two agencies so that more NPS-NASA partnerships could be developed.which would then lead to increased public math and science literacy.
