Jr Wildland Firefighter

What
During the summer months kids can participate in the Jr. Wildland Firefighter program at the park. Kids learn about prescribed fire, fire ecology, and have a hands on experience with equipment used in wildland fire management. Kids can also download the Jr. Wildland Firefighter program activity booklet below. Once the booklet is completed it can be mailed to the park. If the booklet is complete the fire management staff will send back an official Jr. Wildland Firefighter Patch.
