Sundays at 3:00 p.m. In this first person presentation, join Chief Teedyuscung in Independence Hall for a council discussing his role in negotiations during the French and Indian War to achieve peace for Pennsylvania and a home for his people. Meet on Independence Square (45 minutes)

Did the idea of Indian Removal originate with the Founding Fathers on Independence Square? Join a Delaware Chief for a first person presentation examining the Nation’s early Indian Affairs. Meet behind Independence Hall. (1 hour)

Franklin’s Glass Music

Saturday and Sunday at 11:30 and 2:00 Benjamin Franklin invented the glass armonica, a musical instru­ment made of glass bowls. Join a park ranger for a demonstration and hear the haunting sounds that inspired Mozart to write music for the instrument. (15 minutes)

Moses Williams: Cutter of Profiles

Wednesday-Sunday at 2:00p.m. Moses Williams created silhouettes by operating an ingenious machine, the physiognotrace. Hear how his skill led to his freedom and see a reproduction of the machine. (15 minutes)

Whatever Happened to All the Native People

Saturdays at 3:00 p.m. This illustrated program tells the story of the original inhabitants of Pennsylvania, their influence and legacy on the founding of a nation, during and after the American Revolution. (45 minutes)

Lesser Known Stories of Independence Hall

Wednesday-Sunday at 4:00 p.m. Join a park ranger to hear about little known events that took place in Independence Hall after the signing of the Declaration of Independence and United States Constitution. (30 minutes)
