Hedgehog's Herald is a curriculum-based tool for teaching the American Revolution. This pre-visit program introduces grades 4-6 to the Revolutionary War through journalism. The goal of this program is to:

• provide educators with curriculum-based materials for teaching the unit on the American Revolution

• offer suggestions for planning a visit to Independence National Historical Park

• provide a post-visit activity to reinforce the curriculum and park visit
