Harry S Truman National Historic Site
Volunteer

The National Park Service protects more than 390 national parks in the United States. You can help care for one of these special places by volunteering at Harry S Truman National Historic Site.

Volunteers in Parks (VIPs) help carry out the National Park Service mission: "to preserve unimpaired the natural and cultural resources and values of the national park system for the enjoyment, education and inspiration of this and future generations."

We invite you to become a VIP and join us in our efforts to preserve and interpret this site. To find out more, visit our VIP site bulletin on-line or call (816) 461-5550 and ask to speak with the Volunteer Coordinator.

For more on the National Park Service VIP program visit www.usafreedomcorps.gov.
