Cultural Landscape Report: Truman Home

Though it is impossible for natural elements to be "frozen in time," it is possible to maintain the general appearance of the cultural landscape. This plan guides park staff in the maintenance of the property. All floor plans have been removed for security reasons.

Harry Truman didn’t want to embarrass his loved ones.  He wrote, “I’ve never cared for social position or rank for myself except to see that those dear to me were not made to suffer for my shortcomings.”
