How to Donate

Sign saying thank you.

Thank you for your interest in supporting Harry S Truman National Historic Site. Your donation will enhance programs and activities to protect park resources and provide visitor services. Philanthropic contributions continue to make a significant difference and we welcome and are grateful for your support.

Your contributions will: help restore, preserve and protect the properties that make up Harry S Truman National Historic Site, enable conservation treatments of the museum collection, aid the park interpretive and education programs, and help maintain park facilities, exhibits, and grounds.

Harry S Truman NHS is able to accept direct donations. There are donation boxes in the park's visitor center and at the Truman Home. If you are interested in donating directly to the park you may contact the Superintendent by phone (816-254-2720) or by email. Donations may be sent to:

Superintendent
Harry S Truman NHS
223 N. Main St.
Independence, MO 64050

Over the last few years, donation funds have been used to help preserve an historic mirror from the Truman Home, and purchase Junior Ranger badges for the next generation of students, among other notable projects. THANK YOU!
