All films in this festival feature stories of homesteading families. There is no cost or tickets needed to attend, so bring the whole family and popcorn to share! The remaining Year of the Homesteader Film Festival is scheduled as follows:

A Pioneer Family in Alaska (NR): Saturday and Sunday, February 23 & 24, 2013

"The remarkable number of movies about homesteading shows how this part of our heritage has now become our collective folklore," stated Mark Engler, Superintendent of Homestead National Monument of America.
