Prairie Visions Writing Festival - Tuesday, September 23, 2014
Students will learn about creative writing and have time to be inspired by the beauty of the tallgrass prairie to create their own work. Hear keynote speaker Dr. Steven Shively, a noted Willa Cather scholar. He is also a former high school English teacher and is now a professor at Utah State University.
- Pre-registration by September 17 is required. Fill out and return this Writing Festival registration form via mail, fax, or email.

Students in grades 11 through 12 are invited. Space is limited to 100 students. The event will take place at the Homestead Education Center from 9 a.m. til about 2 p.m.
- The cost is $5.50 per person which pays for a Subway box lunch. The lunch includes a 6" sandwich, chips, cookie, and a drink. Please make checks payable to the Friends of Homestead. Food will be ordered for the number of box lunches ordered, payment must be made for that number.
