Quilt Discovery Experience

A new visitor experience is coming to Homestead. This project is the result of community member Kay McKenzie's dream and the hard work of a team of people.

Homestead partnered with the Nebraska State Quilt Guild to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the Homestead Act and held a quilt design contest.

U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Ceremonies

These special ceremonies are held at the Education Center at 2 p.m. and are open to the public. Come and witness new U.S. citizens being sworn in at the ceremony.

Homestead's Traveling Exhibit May Be Coming to Your Area!

Homestead National Monument of America will be sending a traveling exhibit around the country through 2012. This series of exhibit banners is meant to raise awareness about the commemoration of the 150th Anniversary of the Homestead Act.
