Homestead National Monument of America's Summer Hours to Start Memorial Day
Starting Memorial Day, summer operating hours will begin at Homestead National Monument of America. The monument will be open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Along with the extended summer hours, the monument will offer a wide variety of special programs. Beginning June 2, 2014 the Freeman School will be open daily 1-4 p.m. Summer's extended weekend hours will remain in effect through Labor Day, September 1, 2014.
"Summer is an exciting time of year to visit Homestead National Monument of America," stated Superintendent Mark Engler.

Homestead National Monument of America is a unit of the National Park Service located four miles west of Beatrice, Nebraska and 45 miles south of Lincoln.
