Fiddlers, young and old, are encouraged to participate. Professional musicians Greenblatt and Seay will conduct a free morning workshop allowing fiddlers to gain new skills or fine tune current skills. The youngest fiddler, oldest fiddler, and best left-handed fiddler will be recognized.
"This event has grown tremendously over the years and is a great family event," said Mark Engler, Superintendent of Homestead National Monument of America. "It has something for everyone. It's a lot of fun and lets visitors get a look at entertainment enjoyed by homesteaders and settlers on the Great Plains. We're lucky to have the team of Greenblatt and Seay back for another great year."
