Homestead National Monument of America is excited to announce our Monumental Fiddling & Acoustic Band Championship winners for 2011. This event was held on Saturday, May 28, 2011 and sponsored by Homestead National Monument of America, Leigh F. Coffin, Jane M. Coffin, & Leigh M. Coffin Foundation, Friends of Homestead, Homestead Bookstores, the Nebraska Arts Council and the Nebraska Cultural Endowment.

Junior Division Winners (fiddled less than 5 years):

1st place: Emmi Moll from Seward, Nebraska
2nd place: Gretchen Moll from Seward, Nebraska
3rd place: Chloe Pinkman from Lincoln, Nebraska

Senior Division (fiddled 5 years or more):

1st place: Amber Rogers from Concordia, Kansas
2nd place: Jason Shaw from Lincoln, Nebraska
3rd place: Joseph Fedrizzi from Dearborn, Missouri

Acoustic Band Contest:

1st place: Moll Sisters from Seward, Nebraska
2nd place: Spitfire Spinoffs from Lincoln, Nebraska
3rd place: High Strung from Nehawka, Nebraska

Left Handed Fiddle winner: Ella Moll from Seward, Nebraska

Oldest Fiddler: 74, Pat Snyder from Nehawka, Nebraska

Youngest Fiddler: 6, Riley Shaw from Lincoln, Nebraska
