Freeman School Rehabilitation Project Complete at Homestead National Monument of America
Homestead National Monument of America has completed a rehabilitation project on the Freeman School that included removal and replacement of the floor boards. The brick, one-room schoolhouse, one of the oldest in Nebraska, is now again open to visitors.
