The National Park Service invites the public to experience two great photographers sharing their knowledge about creating amazing images. On Saturday, February 22, "X" and Jeff Montanye will give presentations at the Henry A. Wallace Visitor Center at the Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt National Historic Site in Hyde Park, New York.The program will be held from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
"X" uses photography and social media to breathe life into Iconic American figures for the 21st Century Audience.His work has been covered by numerous national media outlets and his many collections are actively exhibited on a national scale.In his presentation "Learning To Look", X will discuss how photographs can be improved by incorporating 5 elements used by fine art and visual artists.
Jeff Montanye teaches photography classes at Orange-Ulster BOCES adult education and leads the Newburgh library's photography club. Last year his organization producedthe book: "Guide To Photographing The Hudson Valley". Jeff's talk "Back To Basics" will focus on answering the question "Will modern technology make me a better photographer?"
Shake off that Cabin Fever and join us for presentations by two professional photographersthat offer great insights into some incredible photographic techniques.The event is free and open to the public.It is part of the National Park Service Community Photo Workshop Series.
