    The Living Room at Springwood decorated for Christmas

The The Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library, and The Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt  Holiday Open House on Saturday, December 13th is from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.......there will be readings from Dickens's "A Christmas Carol" and at the Roosevelt Library, a chance to see the newly installed permanent museum exhibits.  Both the Home and the Roosevelt Library study will be decorated for the holidays as they were during the Roosevelt presidency.  

Admission is free to the Home and Library throughout the day.
The Eleanor Roosevelt National Historic Site (Val-Kill) will also be free and open to visitors from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  Beginning at 4:00 PM visitors to Val-Kill are required to take a shuttle from the Henry A. Wallace Visitor Center at the FDR Presidential Library and Home.  There will be no onsite parking at Val-Kill on December 13th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  

Refreshments will be provided by the Roosevelt-Vanderbilt Historical Association.
