Mike is the State Programs Archaeologist with the Tennessee Division of Archaeology. He came to visit the site excavations on August 1, 2001.

Dr. Welch of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale has worked extensively at the Shiloh Indian Mounds and conducted a guided tour of the area on August 18, 2001.
