Today's Goals: Continue work on the south step trench, finish opening units in the trench across the top of Mound A.
Continuing excavations. Work continues in the south step trench after a quick rainstorm this morning.
Working in the middle of the south step trench. David Anderson working in the middle of the south step trench. Ladders are now used to get in and out of the trench safely.
Preparing to take elevations. Jessica McNeil preparing to take elevations on the northernmost excavation unit of the mound trench.
Completing the north staircase. The north staircase is almost completed - once finished we will begin work on the north trench.
