| Today's Goals: |
Continue with the profile mapping of the south
and top trenches on Mound A, and continue excavation of the north trench.
Light rain fell most of the day. Work continued in the rain until about
1:45 pm, when we returned to the lab. |
 |
View of excavations in the north step trench, early
afternoon. The plastic sheeting was kept close at hand in the event the
rain grew intense. From bottom to top: Jessica McNeil, Tammy Cooper, Rachel
Horlings, and John Cornelison. |
 |
David Anderson and Steve Kidd profiling at the
south end of the south step trench. The black plastic sheeting was kept
over most of the northern part of the trench, since light rain was falling
all day. |
