Today's Goals: Continue with the profile mapping of the south and top trenches on Mound A, and continue excavation of the north trench. Tammy Cooper's birthday was today, celebrated at the site.
Filling sandbags. Filling sandbags atop Mound A, using screened fill from the excavation units. The sandbags will be used to protect the units from water, and to stabilize the trenches as we close down. The plan is to leave the trenches covered and stabilized until we return, tentatively planned for next spring.
