trench and in the trench across the top of Mound A. Wrap up excavations
along the north side of the mound (to concentrate all efforts on the step
trench), and continue processing flotation samples at the on-site lab.

Part of the job today was cleaning, mapping, and photographing the excavations to the west of Mound A where we found Roberts' 1933-34 trenches. Here you can clearly see where the trench (light) and the Apron fill (dark) meet. |
