Today's Goals: Continue work on the north side of Mound A and across the top of the mound. Begin processing flotation samples at the on-site lab.
Every step in the north trench is open. Every step in the north step trench is now open.
Further excavation of 2 units in the middle of the top trench. Two units in the middle of the top trench are being excavated further for the next building stage of the mound.
Waterscreening with the mister. Jessica McNeil "waterscreening" with the mister - the last level of the day was rather difficult to move through the screen and the water helped to clean away the dirt.
Using the flotation machine. Monte Abbott getting his hands a little wet in the flotation machine. Monte worked at the lab all day processing samples.
Heavy screen sample.  Light fraction sample. The result: a heavy screen sample (drying on racks) and a light fraction sample (hanging to dry).
