This book, which was first published in 1993, provides readers with a popular account of the lives of the Savannah River Valley's prehistoric and historic inhabitants. The information here is based on archaeological excavations, archival research, and participant interviews of the living residents of this area. It is truly a unique presentation of this area's history through time, and will provide readers with a greater appreciation of the history of the area around the Georgia/South Carolina border in general.
