Punch Bowl

Export Trade, 1790-1820

In the 18th century, punch was a strong alcoholic combination of five key ingredients: alcohol (usually rum and/or brandy), citrus, sugar, water, and spice. The bowl’s decoration features both polychrome floral bouquets and sepia landscape scenes.
