Visiting Valley Forge National Historical Park

Venture to Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, where General George Washington and his Continental Army encamped during the winter of 1777-78. The time Washington and his troops spent in a log hut city at Valley Forge allowed them to build a unified professional military organization that ultimately enabled them to triumph over the British. The most comprehensive archeological dig ever conducted at Valley Forge is underway, which has already uncovered artifacts that can reveal much about the lives of the soldiers from over 200 years ago. Visit Valley Forge National Historical Park and step back in time to the Revolutionary War and the accomplishments of General George Washington and his troops.
