The building site consists of a historic building
or buildings, structures, and associated landscape
features within a designed or legally defined
parcel of land. A site may be significant in its
own right, or because of its association with
the historic building or buildings. The relationship
between buildings and landscape features on a
site should be an integral part of planning for
every work project.
