The ASAP payment system is currently not accepting any payment requests. The system is temporarily unavailable as End of Fiscal Year 2013 accounts are being balanced. We anticipate that ASAP system, and ability to process payment requests, will operational approximately on October 2, 2013. If the schedule changes we will post current information here.
To our knowledge ASAP transactions will not be affected by the potential government shutdown.
The State, Tribal, and Local Plans & Grants(STLPG) division provides preservation assistance through a variety of programs. STLPG administers a number of grant programs that preserve America's historic places and diverse history. STLPG develops and delivers technical assistance and guidance in historic preservation to a broad audience, including States, Tribes, local communities and Federal agencies. We ensure compliance with Federal law 36cfr 800 for the protection of historic properties.
We are no longer using the SMARTLINK system. You must enroll in the ASAP and SAM in order to recieve your grant funding. Click here for instructions. To verify complete enrollment you should be able to see your account balance for all current grants. Registering in SAM is FREE. Do not pay to register in SAM there are rogue internet sites asking for money. The correct SAM is https://www.sam.gov/ .
