|C. Frank Brockman,
|O. A. Tomlinson,|
My eyes are filled with wonder born anew!
Again I see The Mountain, proud and high;
My spirit scales once more the height it knew,
An bows again in reverence 'neath the sky.
If home is where the heart is, as they say-
My home is here - below that snowy crest.
My hear rejoices in the wild bird's way;
I sing aloud, and know that I am blessed.
I make no catalog of beauties i have seen;
It is enough to see. On every hill
Tall firs lift up their spires of silvery green,
And flowers flame beside each singing rill.
A thrill is in my heart at break of dawn -
I feel the pulse of earth beneath my feet -
The petty cares of living are all gone -
And God is good - and Life is very sweet!
