GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK
West Rim Overlook (1935)

The masonry curbs and walls, walk, and metal railing at this pullout remain as constructed in 1935. Walks along West Rim Road were specified to be 4' wide, curbed with masonry no higher than one foot, and surfaced with asphalt. The masonry walls are of native stone (typically weathered, which was preferred).
