Questions for Photos 3 & 4

1. Compare Photos 3 and 4. What is different about the type and amount of vegetation? Do there appear to have been greater numbers of trees in the 1930s or in the early 1970s?

2. How do you think the animal population on Catoctin Mountain might have changed over the same period?

3. What do you think the area might look like today?
