Turkey Point Light Station
The State of Maryland is the proud, new owner of Turkey Point Light Station in Cecil County. The tower and oil house all that remain of the station will be managed by the nonprofit Turkey Point Light Station Inc., which began to restore the light tower in 2000. As a result of the group's dedication and hard work, the light was relit in 2002 and today operates as a private aid to navigation.
